A) On-Street Parking. Simply select the amount of time you need with the buttons and pay. If you need additional time, return to the meter and add time and pay as needed, up to the maximum amount of time permitted for that street. Some meters are restricted to a specific number of hours. Do Not Park longer than the maximum number of hours for that street or a violation may be issued.

B) In-Lot Parking. Select your length of stay and pay. Place the paid receipt on your dashboard facing up. If you need more time, return to the paystation and purchase additional time and place the new receipt face up on your dashboard. Remove the old expiring receipt to avoid possible violations.

You may appeal a citation in-person, by mail, or on-line. You must appeal a citation within 30 days of the issuance date for the violation. Appeals made by mail must be post marked within 30 days of the issuance date of the violation. Appeals submitted after 30 days of the issuance of the violation will not be reviewed and you will be responsible for the fines and any escalation fees.

Persons appealing a citation will receive written notification of the status of their appeal within 10 days.

You will be asked to create an account to receive notification of the appeal status.

You may apply in-person for a monthly parking permit. Parking is $35 per month, and is recommended for employers and employees in the Downtown Beaufort area.

A) On-Street meters accept coins, Historic Downtown Beaufort Parking Token, and credit cards.

B) Paystations in the lots accept cash $1, $2, & $5 notes, coins, and credit cards.
No change is given at the machines, so please use exact change or a credit card!

C) ParkMobile mobile app.

The ParkBeaufort/SP+ Municipal Services office is located at 500 Carteret St, Suite B1, Beaufort, SC 29902. We maintain office hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and are closed weekends and all City Holidays.

Boaters using the public boat ramp in the Marina Lot are encouraged to use the designated trailer parking located on the west side of the lot. No overnight parking is permitted.
Pay stations and meters do not give change. Please use exact change or use a credit card to avoid overpayment.
