The City of Beaufort has events and activities throughout the year. From outdoor concerts to performing arts productions, there is something for everyone!

There are plenty of ways to celebrate the holidays in downtown Beaufort. Each year, the city has a full slate of activities planned to put you in the holiday spirit.

For example, the annual Night on the Town Celebration, also known as the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season, closes off streets for an evening featuring the City of Beaufort’s Tree Lighting Ceremony, entertainment, and a visit from Santa. If one tree isn’t enough, try over 60 at the Festival of Trees over at Tabby Place.

Bring the whole family to the streets of downtown for the annual Beaufort Christmas Parade, and you’ll see floats, marching bands, golf carts, and personal cars and trucks in the parade. But the parade fun doesn’t have to stop on land… each year the Beaufort River lights up the night with a Christmas Boat Parade.

Need to shop for a holiday gift, there are plenty of retailers in the downtown Beaufort area. With so many activities and events happening in town, you’ll be able to celebrate straight through to the New Year.
